Acceleration Loop in Arms Race

When both offensive and defensive parties adopt the same acceleration tools (such as AI), a positive feedback loop emerges: defenders discover vulnerabilities faster and increase patch frequency → attackers encounter more patches and must find new vulnerabilities faster → defenders discover more vulnerabilities → the loop accelerates. The overall system risk does not necessarily decrease—only the speed increases.
