Hardware as Interface Shift
As new technologies (such as AI) mature, software interfaces progressively migrate into hardware form, because hardware can more directly solve the interaction problem between humans and technology. This is not a return to hardware, but rather a re-optimization of the interface layer—software defines what should be done, while hardware determines how to do it more naturally.
