Capability Proximity to Context
A system's computational capability should match the physical location, time constraints, and decision-making requirements of its execution environment. When the environment demands low latency, high privacy, or immediate response, centralized remote processing is not viable—capability must be distributed to the edge. Conversely, when these constraints are loose, centralization becomes practical.
