Coalition's Marginal Cost Paradox
When coalition members exit and collective control weakens, remaining members are often forced to take more aggressive actions (such as increasing output) to maintain influence, which paradoxically accelerates coalition collapse and market instability. Exiting itself becomes the strongest negotiating leverage, incentivizing other members to follow suit.
