Infrastructure Window of Opportunity
When demand for a critical production resource (such as energy, transportation, or computing) surges while supply remains severely constrained, companies that first fill this supply gap capture excess profits and market share. However, this window is temporary — once supply catches up and competition intensifies, profits normalize. The true winners are not the infrastructure providers themselves, but companies that internalize infrastructure costs and use that cost advantage to deliver superior applications at lower prices.
