When a service ceases to exist independently and becomes embedded within a larger ecosystem platform, the service provider's customer acquisition costs and retention logic fundamentally shift. The platform becomes the new 'geography'—whoever occupies high-frequency interaction touchpoints within it controls the new distribution power.
