Two-Sided Market Cold-Start Paradox
Platform businesses must simultaneously satisfy two interdependent user groups, yet initially neither has sufficient motivation to join, creating a circular dependency: without supply, demand won't arrive; without demand, supply won't commit. Breaking through this impasse requires finding an "asymmetric entry point"—a reason for one side to join first, which then attracts the other side.
