Infrastructure as Platform: Zero Transaction Cost to Attract Supply-Side
When a service category has high barriers to entry for suppliers (requiring them to build their own payment, settlement, and risk management systems), a platform that provides ready-to-use transaction infrastructure can dramatically reduce suppliers' initial investment. This enables rapid supply aggregation and network effects. The key is enabling marginal suppliers (individual developers, small merchants) to enter with zero friction.
