Mirror Bias / Projection Bias
The tendency to project one's own characteristics onto others, overestimating similarities while underestimating differences. When systematic discrepancies arise between self-assessment and others' assessments, they typically reveal the assessor's self-perception rather than the true nature of the person being assessed.
