Regret Minimization Framework
A decision-making framework for major life choices where you project yourself to the end of your life (e.g., age 80) and evaluate the decision from that vantage point, asking 'Will I regret not doing this?' This approach measures true decision value not by short-term gains or losses, but by the degree of long-term regret it would create.
